Guys, enjoy. Usually pics are small, but this one has quite a good size for viewing. |

Thanks for pointing the link.
At almost every major tourism spot such as the Furano ski area, they will display the shots of their local photogs. And they are some of the best in Hokkaido I have seen ( or maybe i did not look hard enough online. ) Lots of hardwork ,and also home ground advantage. They have the liberty to shoot at any season and know the areas inside out. Never mind if I do not get the bird in my sunset, there is always tomorrow for a better shot. For people climbing Kurodake, look out for the landscape shots showing Daisetsuzan in various seasons at the cable station. ( and I suspect they hike and camp and shoot in wee hours ) I have not seen anything more inspiring that urges me to revisit and re-climb in another season. Ryan |

i find that the way japanese approach their nature photography has an unique character that is different from the dominant american-european counterparts. it is intriguing but unfortunately few text, if ever known to me, are in english. i find that character present in the works of eikin but that seems to be about all. our photography magazines are mostly from uk, and some from us. i have seen some local, chinese and indian magazines, which isn't really as newbie-friendly and enriching like the uk mags, and yet to see photography styles unique pertaining to the cultures there.
