    If u r thinking of using the zoom guage on the EVF....no, the best is a rough estimate based on the postion on that vertical bar. However, after taking a pix, you can see the EXIF info using a browser software.

    Hi Jayan....

    Thousands thanks for helping.

    Begining to think that I'm being ignored for perhaps starting a frivolous thread. Not very encouraging indeed for a newbie, especially his first thread start-up. Anyway....

    BTW, what's does the acroymn EVF and EXIF means ?

    EVF = Electronic View Finder.
    EXIF = Exchangeable Image File

    You may find out more about EXIF on the following page:
    http://www.dpreview.com/learn/Glossa...em/EXIF_01.htm

    You can use a software called Thumber to extract data (ISO, shutter, aperture, focal length, etc.) of your photos taken with a digital camera. Thumber can be downloaded from:
    http://www.tawbaware.com/thumber.htm

    Cheers
