define normal.
there is a reason why the ir hot pass filter is there in the first place, why they did not just simply put a simple piece of optical glass. you will end up getting ir contamination in your normal pictures without ir filter like r72 used on the front. something like a psuedo-ir effect. if you take a look at the pictures from this particular fuji film camera which can "flip up" the ir hot pass filter - can't remember the model number.. you will get what i mean. you can replace the ir hot pass filter over the sensor with optical glass (or something like that), and do what you described. but what's the point? you screw on filter, cannot compose. take it out, get half past six normal color photo. might as well go all the way imho. |
