Tokina Pro Lens 28-70 f/2.8
Heard that Tokina is offering this at 400+ by CP.
Very attractive price indeed.  Any one bought one yet? How's the feel of it? |

There are also threads in the other forums partly relating to this.
The lens is the SV version and believe is around $475. Owing to the discussions within these threads, I just recalled reading a magazine that the performance of this lens is not up to mark. I landed up with the Tokina 28-80 as I was unable to hunt down a Tokina 28-70 Pro II at that time. Hope this help and suggest you visit some of the photo review website for others opinion. |

There's a couple under the Buy & Sell forum re: WTB Tokina 28-70 and there's another under Consumer Corner re: Tokina ATX Pro SV 28-70.
