Alrighty, here's the lowdown. I'm preparing to go to work and I heard some suspicious noise from my gate area. Thought I was gonna get burgled or something, guess what I saw? A parrot! yesh an African Grey Parrot clinging onto my gate, biting off the sides and just causing quite a snafu. The feathers look so majestic though. I am intimidated by it. Theres a ring on one of its claws. The parrot is gone now, hope it found its way home. I need to find out more about them living in our climate. Is it a rare find or just a native breed here? Is it really an african grey parrot? It spoke a few lines which I cannot decipher. I can comprehend only the HELLOs and the SORRYs. Sorry if these photos are documentary photos or whatnots, I can't be bothered bout the technicalities of it all, just wanna capture this gift from God. ![]() ![]() ![]() Will post more after dinner. Definitely it is a fly-away pet from somebody. This is a Congo African Grey Parrot. Hope the owner found his pet soon. There aren't any wild Congo African Grey Parrot in Singapore. They are mainly escapees. They are very good talkers, often attached to their owner and also known as a one man's parrot. Their bite can be very nasty. A very popular Parrot pet in Singapore.

perhaps your gate is quite similar to his owner's. mistaken it as his home when trying to get back.
