Creativity, which invokes different angles, poses of model, hairstyling, make-up, which determines your lighting, which then determines your lens.
Best lens - 85mm f/1.2II, also the costliest (if you don't bring in the 200mm f/2) Cheapest lens - 50mm f/1.8II

Ditch your Canon 450D and buy a Hasselblad. Confirm the pictures you take will make people go WOW.
