Smile Olympus Viewer 1.0

Hi all. My friend has lost his E-1 CD and he wants to install the Olympus Viewer software. Could someone please kindly send the installation file to his e-mail address? It's anotherdaythomas@gmail.com. Thank you in advance~~

Erm... I doubt this will work. Email is limited in the size of attachments and certain files (.exe) are blocked by default. Current installations easily exceed these limits (usually 5MB). It would be better to ask for a copy of the CD via snail mail.

Maybe can use the zip function of Windows to split the file into several .zip archives?

I think Gmail has no size limit for attachments?

Thanks for your reply pal~

He has actually tried... but Olympus does not provide the download of this software on its website... only the upgrade files that require the software to be installed beforehand...

The same with Canon. Have you asked Google? A few people have uploaded the Canon DPP software from the CD, maybe some nice Oly chaps did the same.

You should have posted this in the Four Thirds forum. People with E-1 would be more than glad to help you out!

I think so...

How can I move the thread over there? Or May I post a new thread with same contents there?

You can probably PM a moderator to help you move the thread.
