First posts on Clubsnap. Close ups at Pulau Ubin. Did some cropping on GIMP

It will be good if you state your settings.

#1: The lighting from the sun is harsh here. Some fill flash could help. Focus on eyes seems about there at this magnification.

#2: focus is off.

#3: Focus is also off from the eyes, though it seems the focus here is on the abdomen. In marcos, impt to get the eyes sharp, unless there are other interesting features you want to show to the viewer.

Welcome to CS.
The images appear quite dark on my screen.And yes the eyes are not in focus.The better one is the first but you have to diffuse your flash to avoid the harsh shadow.Happy shooting.
