Fire @ Blk 513 Tampines Central 1

There was a fire at the shop beside McDonald's Tampines this morning around 0730hrs.
All shops along the stretch were cornered off by the police due to the smoke and heat.

Last time we ate here when we were maintaining servers for the office blocks here.

Just to correct you...I was there at around 0630 hours and the fire had already started and ambulances, firefighters were already there....alot of smoke too....so I guess the fire started before I even reached

Hi guys, I live nearby and saw the situation too. Wonder what caused it? I was there around 1200 and when I came back around 1800, it still hasn't settled down. Didn't see the fire but I figure it must have been quite huge to raze such a huge shop down. Anyone has any speculation or idea of what actually happened? Was it arson or something?

You're right. The SCDF was alerted to the incident at 06.20am.

wow.. i only took pics of the aftermath ... and i couldnt get near cause they were shooing people away.

that shop that caught fire was an accident waiting to happen.. fire safety fail one

That's why I took the photos only around 1 hour after the fire had started when I'm on the way to work.

This is the mac that was infested with rats on the roof.
