I guess there isn't much serious player around to give you serious advice on serious gear.
but hey, here I am! Personally, I haven't got one or used one but my friend has one back then and was thrilled with this 6x7 (or is it a 6x9? can't remember liao)format packed in a slightly over-sized SLR body with metering. Portability 9 out of 10 !!! ... for a medium format body Ease of use 8 out of 10! Plus point is there is a panoramic adapter (24 x 60mm) for Mamiya 7II. Not sure if there is a 35mm adapter. Logical sense, it should have! Negative point, for me personally, would be difficulty in using filters especially polariser and graduate filters. As you know, 7II is a rangefinder and not a SLR. So, you can't see, as you would in SLR, what the final image with a filter would look like and hence you can only guesstimate the filter effects.
