Safra at Mt Faber has a well-equipped darkroom.
Some polytechnics have darkrooms as well, but you will need to be a student in the relevant modules (well, it used to be that way so I am assuming that nothing much has changed). Building your own darkroom is an option too. Costs will vary accordingly. You will need to be a member of the safra photoclub in order to use the facilities (chemicals are free, but you have to provide your own paper). Yup, chemicals are provided. Darkroom usage is free for SAFRA Photographic Club members also. But there's 1 small critieria thou. You'll need to have either attended the Black&White Photography Course either with them or some place before in order to use the darkroom. This is to ensure that you have prior experience handling the darkroom equipments. Check them out if you're really interested in darkroom printing bah. =)

SAFRA Photographic Club is situated at:
SAFRA Mount Faber 2 Telok Blangah Way It's pretty near to VivoCity. Abt 4-6 bus stops away. You can also take the MRT and; -Alight at Redhill MRT Station. -Turn right and take bus no. 145 at the bus stop nearest to the station. (Do not cross the road) -Alight at the 7th bus stop. (counting the bus stop that you board the bus as the 1st bus stop) -Walk straight following the traffic flow and you will soon see the club which is after the 1st traffic light. (3 mins walk) Buses from Orchard and town area will be 195, 145, 131, 124. Else you can just refer to www.streetdirectory.com for ways to get there bah. ![]()
