So, I know we don't get too many battery grip issues, and most of them just talk about how badly made they are.
Well anyway, I have a slight inconvenient problem. You see, I use a BG-E3, and the rubber 'leather' at the corner, right under the canon word, had come off a few months ago (maybe 2?). I didn't bother about it, because there was probably nothing I could do. So now, air has gotten inside and under the rubber-- everything feels pouchy and wrinkly now- and it's not a nice feeling at all when you're on a shoot. It's not even a year (only 8 months) since I got it new, so I don't expect it to be so quickly worn out. Anything that Canon service centers can do?

IIRC, grip does not have canon official warranty, so you either:
1) use a needle & poke out the air, or 2) Go Canon ask for help. I think it was mentioned not long ago that the replacement rubber cost $80 from them. |

I'll go ask Canon next time. I don't need a replacement rubber-- it's not worn at all, just that there was a part that got cut and air got in. I'm sure they can strip it apart, and use some kind of glue to get it all back together- I hope.
