CS server is slow

It is very frustrating to use CS this few day....

It is either in maintenance ( completely down ) or that the server is sooooo slow.
How long is this going to last ? very disappointing ...

I experienced slow access too. I thought it was my home network issue but encountered slow speed from office.

Anyway, as i write this post, it seems back to normal now.

first. you are not even appreciative about how much the admins and the mods have contributed to this forum and how much they sacrificed their time to keep everything up and in running order.

May i inform you that ClubSNAP is a free community, and everything and everyone is doing things voluntarily for the sake of the community. and it being free. you are given a world class forum, since CS is ranked 3rd in the world, i would hope you would be more appreciative of what every members here, mods and admins have put in to built clubsnap to what it is today.)

first of all, the server is slow becos our Admins, Simon and Edmund, plus mods like DCA, glennyong, chngpe01 and others on their own time and money last thur, went to shift the server physically to a new service centre. there is, and will be, bugs while Edmund (most of the time sacrificing on his own time on weekends as Darren is currently away) rectify them.

i suggested we make an open call to interested CSers to lend a hand. however, due to security reasons at the data centre, Edmund decided to only involved the mods and Admin team. i am sure if Edmund does make an appeal, a number of kind-hearted souls will help without complaints or incentives.

CS dun owe you a living. if you are not appreciative of the efforts of unseen and unpaid individuals keeping this place up and running, mostly on their own time (and sometimes their own money), feel free to leave.
