    Talking Having fun with thieves....

I have been to Malaysia by coach a few times and of all the pranks i pull this is my favourite.

Last time experience lost a camera while it was in a bag inside a coach as the driver apparently left the door open while he go for drink. Noticed it was missing when i opened bag, can only blame myself as was noob.

now what i do is take a very cheap camera bag and left it on the coach seat. inside put choice of,

1, underwear with torn holes inside.
    2. Hell money.
    3. sanitary pad.
    4. fake plastic camcorder with itching powder on it or diaper goo.
    5. Alarm that goes off when the bag is opened.
    6. people die the Urn.
    7. those ancestral tablet.
    8. written in red those ghost yellow paper saying cursed family and so on.
    9. when opened, the bag will emit an evil laughter.
    10. 8 diagram mirror.
    and so on.

More then often when i come back to the bus after bus break, the bag has been opened so i just laugh and talk loudly what had happened to people inside the bus and say that the person open the bag the whole family will be unlucky or have very short life. very entertaining..

so do you guys do the same?

This is called trying to be too smart.

First of all, not everybody subscribes to the same beliefs as you, so to them whatever you placed in the bag is worthless junk. I doubt they'd be too worried about what they see (referring to the religious paraphenelia).

Secondly, if YOU believe in these things, then you are abusing these items and showing great disrespect. What if the thief just took the whole bag away, then later either toss the things into the trash or even pee on it? I would think that you would be punished instead.

And thirdly, and more realistically, robbers have been known to track down and assault people who try to be funny with them. You never know that the thief could very well be one of the passengers in the bus.

Okay but make sure you don't try putting that in your car.

A few years ago, my dad carelessly left is laptop bag in the front car seat. Of course, someone smashed the glass window and to his disappointment, there wasn't any laptop inside, only to find my dad's office documents. Nehnee nehnee poo poo to the thief, but the cost of replacing the glass window wasn't cheap at all...

    1. They may not be religious but it should give them second thoughts whether to do again.

    2. Makes it more risky for the thief if the things inside are real or DIY one. The thief show disrespect to us, why should we bother how they feel?

    3. Depends on the tourists ability generally and their connections.
For me, if outnumbered run. If equal numbers stand ground. If outnumber them, hammer.

I have a indian friend whose uncle was stopped at expressway by vehicles and they asked for kopi money which he paid. Its enough take money but then they mocked him and so on and drove off but made the mistake of telling him to come to their meeting place at one bus rest area if he dare. Needless to say, he called his "brothers" in Johor and SG and waited at the Perhentian Bas for the group really the next day.

If anyone remembered, there was also the case of the 2 NS boys who kena threatened by one man at shopping centre who said that he have ten men outside and should give their money and handphone. Quiet quiet they go off only days later report to local SG police about the incident. I wonder if resolved or not.

It really depends what kind of tourist they are.

Yr tactics only can be applied on ur scenario...

My cousin met another more "hiong" young thief ard 11-14 yr old.

While my cousin was waiting for bus, the handbag was open, and he put his hand right in and dig for the wallet, my cousin, (i think she's abit blurblur) notice the movement on the bag den she realize what is going on. =.=

Den she flung her bag close to her chest, so the boy has no choice. They are not even ashame lor, all they do is walk away.

whatever u mentioned about whatever you are doing or planning to do, only goes to show that you would rather go down to their level.

2 things, its either u are young, or you have a "young" mind.

One thing is for sure, if you ever get caught in the customs with the "things" you mentioned that you are going to bring, you can be sure that I would be the one laughing

God blessed them with five senses, arms and legs yet not satisfied with finding real work instead resort to theft. Money is most sweet when it is earned. Even being toilet cleaners are still considered an okay job in my experience as i have worked as such before. The job stinks but is pretty okay to me and the money earned in malaysian context, the money is "halal" which roughly means not dirty.

This news spreads fast and wide in Malaysia through the thieves' network.

Now they don't want to touch any camera bag left on the bus anymore.

    All thanks to you!

Just tell the custom official that you are a medium who is going to Malaysia to take up an "assignment".

Wear a Ghost Buster Tshirt to remind them who you are.

Put fake money in your wallet and real money somewhere else, so when theives steal, they steal the one with the fake cash?
