    Talking Creative Speakers

    Hi all,

    I'm planning to get a 5.1 Speakers.

Anyway, I'm planning to get Creative Inspire T6100 or T6060.
Is sound card necessary? Currently, I do not have a sound card.
If needed, I'm looking at X-Fi Xtreme Audio or Sound Blaster Audigy Value .

    Please advice.

    Thank you!!!

Most newer motherboards come with built-in sound cards. If you do need one, depending on your applications, both Creative sound cards work fine.

For more specialize and better sound cards, go for E-MU or Digigram.

Basically, I'm using it just for movies, listening to musics and gaming.
I have a sound card with my previous pc, but I don't find myself using it.
So I'm thinking, is it necessary?

By the way, thanks so much for your reply and advice.

Eh, why get yourself a X-Fi Xtreme Audio or Sound Blaster Audigy Value? They're basically the same card, repacked and re marketed. XF Audio would set you back around 98SGD. XF audio gives you some pretty clean, airy quality, but it's not using Xi Fi technology.
    However
Get a real XF card -XF Xtreme Gamer for around 128-140SGD, the difference is noticeable!
