AI servo question

After select AI servo in 40D, what focusing point mode should be used in event e.g, wakeboard, airshow, center focus or auto 9 points ?

If using center focus, may need to trace the wakeboard/plane and place it in the center of the frame ?

hmm i usually select the point where i want to focus
Its worked ok for me
and yes,if you select center point you need to try to keep the focus pt on the subject

Especially in bird photography where I am panning towards the sky for the birds, I will open up all 9 points and fire away.
