Default Light Meter

if one need to buy a light meter, and that light meter is probably the one and only light meter to be bought, which brand/model is recommended, supposedly budget not more than $600? Or much cheaper than that? TIA.

Sekonic L-508 zoom mater is selling at $599 at TCW before bargaining. You might be able to get cheaper. BTW, the L-508 is a very good meter, but if you don't need the spot meter, you can go for the L-308 at a much lower price.

Oh, and here is Sekonic's website:

http://www.sekonic.com/

Hope that helps.
