I used tripod but because Sigma lense don't have VR....... and the butterflies don't stay still for very long.......I have to keep chasing them......

Is it in video mode, you can only manual focus and cannot control the aperture?

Yes, manual focus only. You can preset the aperture before start recording.

Thanks for the info.. I thought i read somewhere u have no control at all over the aperture value. Good to know that aperture is adjustable.
