Need some assistance with film scanners...

Hi there!
I've finally decided to take the plunge, and invest in a dedicated film scanner.

I've boiled my choices to these scanners:
1) Minolta Dimage Dual Scan III
2) Nikon Coolscan IV
3) Acer Scanwit 2740S

The Minolta scanner looks really tempting at it's price tag of $550-ish, but I am tempted to go all out for a Coolscan IV (for the ICE functions and stuff).

But one consideration is that I know that I will be porting over to digital in the near future, so I was thinking of not spending too much on a film scanner.

Thing is, which one should I choose?

I was wondering whether anyone could post some scans with the Minolta scanner - without any post processing(I would like to see it's 'out-of-the-box' scans, as I am not that good in post processing myself.)

The previous links to sample scans are all dead...
