I find that the pic is not very sharp. How do you set the focus?

The starting anf ending point of the panaromic is a bit weak. The pic start at the middle of the bridge and end with half of Conrad. Any particular reason you wanna do that?

The inclusion of some sunset sky on the right is good. Your choice of taking this in the blue hour is a decision.

Keep on shooting.

Bibento,

Thanks... this photo was token yesterday, after heavy rain.

However...I can't focus it at all...something just not right...
hence I set it to auto-focus, and shot 4 photos...these photos were combined using photoshop later.

Oh I see...
Are you using a digital cam or SLR?
Sometimes, manual focus might help you in situation like this.
You might wanna try that the next time.

Pic could be sharper. Nice try.

The english title seems misleading. Isn't that the esplanade bridge and marina in the background? No sign of Merlion nor Merlion Park.

I am using S602z DC.
I use manual focus at first, but simply can't focus, then change to auto-focus... maybe I did something wrong that I don't know...

Why can't manual focus?

You could set to infinity and back focus a bit. F/11 should get you pretty sharp image in this scenario.

Really thanks for your advice...
Now I juz get the idea...
If set to infinity...mean..using manual to set? coz I slowly turn the ring...somehow the image like very hard to look "sharp"...

Hi Megaweb,

I capture my shot using auto-focus mode, with tripod, and not with self-timer...

Usually I will use self-timer coz my hand seems like very easy to shake the camera no matter how stable the tripod is... (Slik U8000)...
This time I din't use it coz I wan fast as scare of rain...

'till now I still can't figure out why some part of the photo is blur...
Maybe you can share your opinion?

Oh ya...how do I use s602z to set the focus to infinity?
