I'm new in DSLR.

Any1 has tips like

type of macro lens suitable for D50
any filter needed, if yes wat kinda filter
how much will the macro lens and filter be

THEY have been discussed over and over again. See which you'd prefer more and how much you are willing to fork out.

oh and it'd be good if you can tell us your budget

the cost of close-up photography can range from:
tens of dollars.... (extension tubes)
to a couple of hundreds... (reverse lens mounting)
to many hundreds!... (real macro lenses)
