Default Blackbird : Learning how to fly

Managed to lay my hands on a sample unit for a quick test drive. Not much time, so just lousy randoms during lunch time. Balls itchy and removed the mask, ended up all the frames were sticking to each other. Scanning was hell!

The verdict ... fun cam and definitely a MUST BUY!

Placed preorder for one of these cool cams ... can't wait for it to arrive in a week or two

Really? Not sure about those but I understand that it's selling for about US$120 in Japan.

Thanks for the preview!

Can you adjust aperture and shutter speed or is it all fixed?

Two apertures for sunny n cloudy and fixed shutter speed. Not sure about the actual aperture value and speed though, as it was a sample unit. There is some online manual in english and I've yet to download it My order should arrive in a week's time ... can't wait

The 2 apertures for cloudy and sunny are F7 and F11 and the shutter speed is fixed at 1/125 for normal shooting mode. May I ask if anyone know where can I get a holga colour flash in SG?
Thank you!

Yeah, the flash is around that price. You can check it out here http://8storeytree.com/store/index.p...utqhrguc1d94l7

The other one you can consider is the Lomography's Coloursplash flash. It is easier to use as you just turn the 'dial' and the color filters will change. I just find the 'propeller' looking thing on the Holga one very clumsy.

Ermmm ... don't u have a user manual? You see the long rewind lever on the side? That is the one u need to use to rewind. First you have to press the little button there before you rewind. Hard to explain le. Heheh.

From my understanding, BlackBird Fly seems to be the "toy" version of Mamiya 645.
