Default Hand strap + Neck strap together on Gripped Canon body?

Hey guys, anyone know how it can be achieved? What I want to do is to carry on using my current OptechUSA neck strap whilst adding on a hand strap.

Any comments and directions would be appreciated. Such an item should be available locally if at all possible.

    Cheers,
    Zexun

OP does carry some hand strip. I had the one by Matin, just secured it beside the OPtech strap on the camera itself. No problem at all.

here's the pic of my hand strip:

U dun need the plastic thing to secure the hand strip to the bottom of the camera if your BGE3 had a hook underneath for the other end of the strip.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes my BG-E3 has the thing that allows straps to be looped.

What product should I exactly look out for?

Not sure, I only used the Grip III all these times.
note that it will be sweaty on your palm when u use the hand grip after a while.

refer to this old thread for the different types:

If you look around, there might be shops that carry THIS one. Else, go to eBay to get it.

You can just get the Canon E1 handstrap. It has an additional eyelet on the top of the handstrap to allow you to attach the neck-strap as per normal.

I believe it's the only option that allows you to do this normally.

But it's expensive, and it's basically a strip of rubber leather across the back of your hand. What I see in the links above are those "fit hand into camera and it's snug" kind of thing.

Do explain what you mean the "eyelet on top" =)
