Default Where to buy beanbags?

I want to use them as support on the move.

Nowadays can't think of anywhere that sells beanbags. Camera stores sure don't carry these things.

Don't tell me must make my own, wor?

If I am not wrong, those are for mobile phone, don't remember seeing any available in Singapour that is for supporting camera, but a lot in photography magazine. Maybe you want to do a MO.

Currently, I am using small soft toy from Barang Barang as support.

Saw a few bean bags that's very good and firm for camera a few months back at Isetan Scott but it's damn expensive. Around $50++... I think they use styrform beans maybe that's why...

Can you remember roughly what type of shop? Or which floor it's located?

Try the sports shop at Centrepoint. I'm pretty sure it has beanbags, though I'm not sure about the name of the shop.

Think it's on the 3rd-5th level. It's just a small shop next to the elevators. Very easy to spot.

Why don't you just make a bean bag.

For light-weight, use styrofoam balls, steal some from your father's bean bag chair!

For heavy-eight, use saga seeds (the little red seeds to shoot your friends with on a DIT toy gun). Too bad, you'll probably need to go to Malaysia to collect the saga seeds.

I went to the Simei Eastpoint. The store is called Bean Baf Mart

However, they only sell those big bean bags for you to sit or lay down on. But they do custom make if you want to, think charges go by the material used. Didn't ask becos, might as well make my own in that case.

ivor, that's a neat bean bag! Do they sell them in Sg?

Anyway, I'll continue looking for one, if not make one, then update you guys.

Chey ! Why not ? It's easy.

Take an old sock ( wash and dry first lar ). Those free ones from airplanes are good coz they are big and light.
Pour in some uncooked ( obvious right ? ) green beans or red beans.
Sew or tie the sock up.

Voila ! Bean bag. Costs 20 cents.

Default use silica gel

Why not use Silica gel instead. Can perform double duty of removing moist air in camera bag and support the camera.

Hehe...i have a bean bag made by my...MUM.
Seems that greenbean is a great choice, only to be rebutted by my mum that it stinks in the long run and possible rotting too.

And...my mum came up with the idea since kampong times. Get lots of tao geh kak (or bean sprout crust, those black black stuff on top of a bean sprout). Get them dried and you have a bean bag; that is clean, and stable! No doubt its tedious, i believe its totally free! Just get them from your nearest veggie stall owner! While Stocks Lasts!

Sounds ley chey it might be, it can be used as your son's pillow in future! My mum say putting them on the chest of young babies puts them into nice nice sleep....

Gd nite!

Well, if you put a EOS 10D or 1Ds on my chest, I'll fall into a nice nice sleep too...

The stretch of road after the American Club, (along Scotts Road) has lots

It's near/before RGS, if you walking from Istean, you will pass by China Black, Thong Teck Building, American Club...etc and you should see several red seeds littering the road after a while.

Unless the trees got chopped off, because several years back, my friends were busy picking the seeds up to fill a glass bottle to give his gf.

I could cuddle a 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM or AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8 IF-ED to sleep too.
