please do your camera a justice by showing properly exposed photos... or just drop the canon camera bit.

1. fix your exposure
2. drop the canon bit

make up your mind which is more important, the brand of your kit or the photos.

to Carvello why so serious..

i think his exposure..is Ok..and by the way , If your trying to tell our friend digital 601 here something thru your comments.
can you please elaborate on his short comings..like for example point no 1...do tell under expose, or over expose..or wht type of exposure you think should be right..?

not just by saying fix your exposure..that is so general..point out every pic or 1 or 2 that you can elaborate on..

The wee bit (picture 1 2 3) maybe the 1.4 TC and high ISO noise due to overcast sky when I took the shot.

And to cervello, to me the exposure looks ok on my screen. I work with colour for over 25 years.I know what looks good and what looks bad.I still trust my eyes more than equipment costing thousand of $.
As per sufianian point out please tell it's over expose or under.

Could be due to my uncalibrated monitor, but I find the pictures flat. Maybe can up the contrast a little?

I like #3 most as I could feel the intensity of the game.

Even Canon's official sample don't have such 'fancy' watermark.

But, overall I find picture with tele converter underexposed. Due to the smaller aperture, I suppose?

a proper photographer ensures that the viewer see things as they should be, however they also exercise due diligence to edit the photos if it looks wrong.

you may have worked in the colour related line for 25 years... however there is no guarantee of two things:
1. your eyes' colour sighting is as good as before - 25 years is LONG!
2. you can work with colour... however you are not familiar with cameras.

there are a myriad of possibilities, however if you feel nothing needs to be done with your photos, then so be it.
