Here's a short video of Haw Par Villa taken in the hot sun last weekend, using my XH-A1 with Brevis 35mm adapter. Compared with my earlier attempts using the Brevis, this one looks OK, but I need faster/better lenses to achieve a shallower depth of field. At least I never run out of things to spend my pay on.

u know, over the A1 thread, i had this wild idea of having A1-DoP..
Im sure anyone who owns an A1 should have basic framing and focusing techniques right.. so imagine on my action film story... Cam 1 will always stay wide and safetly. Cam 2-3 close-ups, focus on the action. Cam 4 will be always on merlin. Cam 5 will be my personal camera. Hand-held treatment, with occasionally jib-arm and merlin shots. =) A recipe for a "24" style action film! |
