I was at Funan yesterday looking to buy the S5Pro, asked including Cathay Photo, TCW and Alan Photo, no one has stock. Was told by the shop that Fuji is "dumping" the S5Pro at around $1.1k before GST but no stock.

By the way, this does not make any sense at all. How can Fuji 'dump' the S5 Pro when the stock is low? From my understanding, there are very limited sets (less than 20) available locally.

Checked Alan Photo & Orient Photo at SLS, both shops do not have any stock also, finally bought the D90 Kit. S5Pro is out of my question now. I anticipate that in 1 year's time, we should be able to get full frame Nikon camera for around $2.5k.

The first prosumer Nikon D100 came out around 2002/3 time frame, was selling more than $3k, then D70 released in Apr 2004, was selling for $2100 with kit lens. On the same progression, D700 launched price was about $4k, next full frame model should be $2.5k +/-. Therefore my next DSLR will be a Nikon Full frame body by then.

? I checked with alan last week was available. I bought from MS in the end as i was in the area. MS stock just came in like tuesday? 1095 AFTER gst.

I got 2 batts from Fujifilm Service Centre . That'd be your best bet!
