Hello, anyone here know of any books which teach more advance composition other than the basic rule of third?
A book that teaches and emphasize on composition mostly. Also, title, price, and where to get them? ![]() Thanks!! |

![]() Two books I will recommend on composition are: 1. Learn to see creatively by Bryan Peterson 2. The Photographer's Eye by Michael Freeman. I believe these books can be borrowed from the library. If you wish to purchase, it will be cheaper to get them from Amazon. The price after including shipping fee is still about 30% less than the prices at Kinokuniya and Borders.

Agree with Randius on the library part. I get my fix at the library, the best library to go to for photography books so far is the main library at bugis. You can also borrow photography magazines like Pop Photography, Amateur Photographer. They have lots of examples that books on composition might not be able to cover.

The Photographer's Eye by Michael Freeman as mentioned. it is a highly recommended book. i just borrowed from library last 2 week ago.
