i got the Luxeon E1L, luckily no switch issues yet. i am very impressed by Pelican M6 2330, with me since early 2003. till now the switch still works like its new!

the Dereelight upgrade is in SGD? i have drop-in from MTE, may not be the best but there is improvement in output & runtime. tint slightly blue but i use warm filter to shift the tint. with the Pelican M6, i can change the window whenever it gets marred. now i used photographic filter- Cokin. DIY cut to size!

here is still safe, even custom light cost most SGD$1200, much cheaper than most pro lenses!

1 advice, even if tempted to buy. never buy till u have handled, tried out the light in person. pictures dun always tell the whole story.

especially....... http://www.leupoldmx.com/ this wan i think 1 2 touch oso no chance here....

yah, dereelight have solid reputation. but i wonder how much brighter & longer the runtime is compared to my cheaper MTE, which already is significantly brighter than my already bright 2390's original bulb.

McRitchie & Lower Pierce sounds good. Fort Canning may have couples there, dun 1 2 disturb them.
