The roar of the F1 cars was echoing through the streets even from clarke quay and I decided to follow the sound and see how close I could get. Near the parliment house, found a small stone barrier which gave me some elevation and balancing from there I tried to take some shots using the LX3 through the crowd and the fence as the cars zoomed by. Not great shots but just to share shots from my balancing act.
![]() ![]() Wonder if anybody going to F1 will try out the LX3 at this event. If you are please share. I am sure this little camera can do very well in good hands in a good position ![]() |

I was outside the parliment building opposite to the cricket club. You can actually see the race for free at this corner here but of course there were lots of people. I managed to stand on a small stone barrier which gave me a better view above the crowd gathered at the fence. Sadly after some time mr policeman came by and me and others had to come down. There were even others who had brought plastic chairs to stand on to watch the cars roar by.

Good panning, I am still trying to learn how to do that. Everytime I take it is sure to be blur...
Care to share with us on the camera settings... ![]()

It was taken with the shuttle priority mode. 1/100, ISO 400, f2.8
I think it's really hard to pan with a PNS camera. Especially with 1 hand haha. I got a lot of blurred shots too. Those 2 are just lucky ![]() |
