Just wanted to share some b&w shots I've taken on orchard road. The last one wasn't taken on orchard road, but i decided to include it anyway :-)

Nice one Danny. How did you get the 5th one? Seems very close. Something I have been trying very hard to achieve.
You shot from the hip?

Thanks, bro. Yup, this one was shot from the hip... i used an uwa lens (10-20mm) on hyperfocal distance. It was very split second as we were crossing the street. The girl on the right is my gf, and i saw another girl coming from the opposite direction.. then i just hit the shutter when they crossed path

Nope, this was a stolen shot. They were talking and seemed bewildered with the crowd in front of them

The escalator was stationary? Cos I was thinking how come the girl was going up, but the guy right at the top of the pic was coming in the opposite direction?

Actually the girl is also coming down, her face is just a complete silhouette and yes, the escalator was stationary because i was going up

Love the first shot of the 3 uncles, the expression on the uncle on the extreme right is priceless.

I'll take a guess, yr last shot was taken outside AMK mrt station?

Just moved this set of pics into this thread... thought it was more appropriate here. Just some shots I took over the weekend.
