Hey night86mare
I love the 1st shot .... really fits the caption ... the other 3 don't seem to convey the complacency and forever-busy life of someone in the rat-race .... if only the 1st shot had the sun bearing down on the road like the 4th shot ... |

thanks for viewing and comments. took a while to get the hang of shooting straight when the camera bouncing against chest.. also took a while to realise that it would be easier to simply adjust my strap shorter so that it would be higher and less chance of amputation.. ![]() actually i thought #1 was a bit top heavy in terms of composition.. wish i had more space above to play with (it's a cropped shot). as for #2.. i did try to correct, it ended up sort of losing the idea for me. but maybe it'd work too for others, no. ![]() |

I actually kinda like #3 even with the amputation... it's like a contemporary art photo. #5 is my favorite of all.. very interesting central character with an intriguing expression. It also looks like a carefully composed photo rather than a hip shot.

I don't like the thread title
![]() But I like the captures. I think #1 is a potentially good shot, but the balance of weight is off. Though honestly, if I am looking for a home I probably wouldn't be in the mood to take pictures, so hats off for that, and there are really no bad shots here. I actually like #2, and 7. I kind of like the use of dark space as a balance against the lights. #7 for the billboard adds some vibrancy to the capture and the hustle of the street. London streets are extremely photogenic, not in the kind of mess like ours. Keep them coming. PS: I realise you didn't say London, but I am going to guess that.
