Just to explain a little, i carry a compact camera with me all the time for my interest in 'street' photography. I believe what characterises this genre/style of photography lies in its spontaneous nature, and therefore i prefer to use a compact camera that follows me around.

On most days, i like my b&w pics contrasty so basically with Lightroom 2, i convert to b&w, use the curves function to create roughly a 'S' curve to achieve a punchy look to the picture. I love vignettes too, so i'll add vignettes where appropriate. Yea basically that's about it. Haha. If you're using LR2, you could actually use some presets available online to help with your workflow. Then work on from there. ![]() |

Great street shots, specially some of the close-ups, even through LX3 do not have a great zoom in. |
