Default Street Photography (compact camera series)

Just to explain a little, i carry a compact camera with me all the time for my interest in 'street' photography. I believe what characterises this genre/style of photography lies in its spontaneous nature, and therefore i prefer to use a compact camera that follows me around.

Photos taken with either my 'old' Fujifilm 100fd or my current Panasonic LX3.

C&C much welcomed!

Cheers

Thank you!

On most days, i like my b&w pics contrasty so basically with Lightroom 2, i convert to b&w, use the curves function to create roughly a 'S' curve to achieve a punchy look to the picture. I love vignettes too, so i'll add vignettes where appropriate. Yea basically that's about it. Haha. If you're using LR2, you could actually use some presets available online to help with your workflow. Then work on from there.

No la, just try to act normal so as to blend in with the crowd i guess. Haha. Most of the time i find the only thing stopping me from taking a picture is actually myself.

Man~ that is a good way to motivate oneself to do the hardest thing in life.
Great street shots, specially some of the close-ups, even through LX3 do not have a great zoom in.
