Students wanted

Hi there

I'm keen to do some people photography ... especially of students in their school uniforms, I personally love all the different sch u's that are out there ...

I'm sorry I won't be able to offer much in terms of monetary returns, so this is mainly for people interested in a fun day of posing in front of a cam .. and don't worry, nothing lewd is involved, we will shoot in public places ...

No make-up, experience necessary, just an interest will do ... and u don't need to be drop-dead gorgeous ... just photogenic

Any students interested, pls PM me with a short intro n photo of yourself, as well as ur school ...

Hmm .. so far response has been better than expected .. keep them coming !!

Any amateurs ? At present the interested parties seem to be "professional" models .. would love to work with the non-professionals too ...

I'm also not a pro ... so maybe I would find it less intimidating working with amateurs too ... hahaha

You know, on hind sight... If you have pros posing for u, all you need to do is shoot! Don't need to think of poses for your models.

Sounds like fun, hey if you manage to get a "non-pro" shoot, care to let another non-pro tag along? I've always wanted to shoot people and students sounds like great fun, but with pros around its just intimidating.

OK I have to check with the model first ... and I don't think you'd be allowed to shoot if you don't pay .. don't think it's fair to the model for 2 ppl to shoot if only one pays ...

Incidentally I think this problem of amateurs getting the jitters amongst pros is bigger than imagined .. I seriouly find their lugging around huge amounts of equipment and loads of camera-speak a bit disconcerting sometimes .. makes us newbs feel rather inadequate haha

Don't mind splitting cost if its not too much... actually I don't wish to pay professional models either, too expensive =X

I agree with the latter part... Its just over the top sometimes, and it makes us newbies wonder if they really need them...

What camera do you use anyway? I'm still contemplating if I should switch to dSLR...

I must also emphasise that my preference is for ladies, of course ...

Maybe it's just me, but I just find it less comfortbale working with a male model ... can't quite explain it ..

I won't reject males outright, of course, especially if they are reasonably photogenic, but the preference will be for females ...

Thanks for those who have responded, I already have 2 persons lined up, and I will most get back to the rest .. but bear in my mind it may take some time .. i will arrange something in time with whomever has responded ...
