Pentacon Six TL medium format camera body with Carl Zeiss Jena Biometer 80mm f2.8 (zebra lens).


This is a vintage East German made camera with ultra sharp retro Zeiss optic. This lens gives you the ultimate bokeh as we all know, just go to flickr and check out pictures taken by it.

The camera works like an SLR but with top down view-finder for discreet shooting on street. Really easy to operate. Weight and size ratio are superbly balanced, making it a everyday square format fine-art shooter.

P6s are very difficult to obtain in Singapore and this is in a perfect minty condition. Format wise, it surely beats 35 SLR hands down. I am selling for the price I hunt from the Europe with shipping and taxes and service cost.

Camera has been CLA by professional P6 servicemen when I bought it for 90EUROs (it is difficult to find reliable P6 servicemen over Eastern Europe, hence the price), so everything is functioning perfectly. Lens optic is clean, no haze, no dust, no scratch, no fungus. Shutter speeds are perfect throughout as tested again by me on sensitive slide film. This is a very reasonable cost for such minty item. The price of it is known to appreciate over the years. No risk at all

Throw in $50 for original leather case in minty condition. They do not come in pairs, P6 cases have to be purchased separately. Unless you wish to use your own strap, this is the best protection and the easiest carrier around. If the bid is high enough, I will throw this in FOC.

Additional Comments:
Many asked me to be the “official” P6 dealer here since I know this camera inside out and every bit of its history, its mechanics and value. I’ am interested in this camera way back and usually obtain them on travel trips and many other means directly from Europe through reliable sources. I sent them all for service - CLA (Clean, Lubricate and Adjusted) before bringing them back to Singapore. And I usually ONLY get the unused or minty sets hidden away and forgotten in old obscure camera shops there. You will NEVER find such mint and clean, perfect operational sets out anywhere. You can get online elsewhere but you will also buy along - sticky curtains with inappropriate shutter speeds, bassing, scratches, dings on camera bodies and lenses, jammed cocking lever, broken self-timer, unworking shots counter, light leaking back cover and many other problems… If you have to spend, buy 1 good one and forget about it. Don’t waste time looking for people to service it with unoriginal parts.

I am giving this side line a try. But the money I make will never justify my time non level with my day job. This is more for hobby and building a P6 community here. I have met and sold many of my P6s to very friendly people and I pray that we can have some great P6 legends here in the near future and hope to have all your kind supports for an honest dealer.

This is a new set. It was only used during CLA and when I test it on slide film. All internal parts are brand new. Extremely minty for the collectors. $560 will include the leather case since I have so many in the house. Also minty.
