Does anyone use this lens before?
Mine version is with motor. Just bought it this week. Last night try this lens but found a serious flare. Anyone can give some advice what i should do? Is it because the filter? Because before I buy this lens i found review that this lens got good flare control. ![]() Thanks. Hope some one can give some guide what I can do. |

did u remove filter before shoot?, try shoot w/o filter first.

Hoya UV filter. Buy it together with the lens. I just ask the guy give me the cheaper filter for protection only.

dont put a cheap glass in front of ur lens. at least get the pro version of the hoya.

I am using Tamrin 28-75 too, but have no issue. Seriously, It should be the filter problem, pls change it to a better filter then.

i am using a 2875 too no flare issues even at multiple light sources. i suspect is the filter!

As an aside, please get a tripod if you intend to do night photography.

mine with normal hoya UV filter. not much problem encountered. does the lens hood help?

![]() Last night back home too late no time test it. Will try it tonight. Is it possible because of the lens issue. Some lens QA issue? This is my first tamron lens so not very sure how's the Tamron lens QA. Will it like Sigma lens got soft and sharp copy? Thanks! |

It might be possible, but the first suspect is still the filter. Try it without the filter and see. |

No serious flare problem when combined with either my B+W UV or Cir Pl Filter. My lens was "MADE IN JAPAN". My own research indicates that the Japanese ones have better QC than the Chinese ones. |

I had flares on my B+W filter. But it's rare. 2875 has chinese ones?
