Thread: ERP and F1...

  1. #1

    Default ERP and F1...

Install more ERP along the route of the F1 race track.

If each of the F1 goes 20 rounds, than we would have collected...$$$ X 20

this understanding is so wrong of ERP which essence of it is to control congestion, not collect revenue. you recommenndation wun stand cos F1 average speed will never be 20kmh...

You are right, but do lighten up. I believe it was just a tongue in cheek statement, meant to be a joke

Actually it would be interesting to see if the ERP camera can capture the F1 cars going at top speed. Maybe can only capture the smoke
I get paid more shooting part time ...... damn, I should find more time to shoot part time

That will be interesting to know, but the Singapore circuit will not pass through any of the existing ERP gantry. But if it does, I bet the oversea viewers will be wondering what the heck is that lump of metal structure for. It may look like some kind of x-ray machine to them

how about collections from speeding tickets?

The uncle in white at nicole highway bridge will be very trigger happy, clocking those speedsters at 250km/hr on a speed limit of 50km/hr. He will be thinking, i fart tart liao!!!!

the local motorists should get their refunds on road taxes too.
The F1 revenue should help compensate for the congestion and inconvenience experienced by motorists.
Otherwise it's not fair...(just kidding motorists pay for reduced congestion but organizer/authorities collect revenue for creating a congestion.

What about their driving licence? do they have international Class 3 driving licence and is it reconised by SG? If not can charge them for driving without a valid licence also

Can charge them for illegally modifying their vehicles, singapore don't allow such powerful engines and all
It is such a quiet thing to fall,
But far more terrible is to admit it

The ERP is in front of Fullerton Hotel at Fullerton road, but the F1 circuit would have turn off from Anderson Bridge into Esplanade bridge, and would not pass under the ERP.
