Equipment Type: MediumFormat Equipment Brand: Pentacon Six Equipment Model: Unique Item - 10/10 Minty Pentacon Six (without TL word) Price (S$): from $600 Description: Unique Item Pentacon Six (without the TL word) medium format camera body with Carl Zeiss Jena Biometer 80mm f2.8. This is a vintage East German made camera with ultra sharp retro Zeiss optic. This lens gives you the ultimate bokeh as we all know, just go to flickr and check out pictures taken by it. The camera works like an SLR but with top down view-finder for discreet shooting on street. Really easy to operate. Weight and size ratio is superbly balanced, making it a everyday square format fine-art shooter. Normal P6 TLs are very difficult to obtain in Singapore and this is an ultra rare P6 with only "pentacon six" words engraved on the body. Operation wise, it is same as P6TL but people will instantly recognize this rare baby from a distance. It is said to be of a different cast in the communist east germany back then when the original was bombed by the russian, so only a very very small numbers was produced. History aside, format wise, it surely beats 35 SLR hands down. I am selling for the price I got from the Europe with shipping and taxes, so don't think ebay is cheaper than me. Just snow-ball the cost and you will find my cost Camera has been CLA by professional P6 servicemen when I bought it, so everything is functioning perfectly. Lens optic is clean, no haze, no dust. Shutter speed is perfect as tested again by me on slide film. This is a very reasonable cost for such unique item. The price of it is known to appreciate over the years. No risk at all Real Name: Francis Contact Number: 97934609 Condition of Item (as per guidelines): Mint Warranty Status: - Additional Comments: Many had asked me to be the official P6 dealer here since I know this camera inside out and every bit of its history, its mechanics and value. Iam interested in this camera way back and usually obtain them on travels and many other means direct from Europe. I sent them all for service - CLA (Clean, Lubricate and Adjusted) before bringing them back to Singapore. And I usually ONLY get the unused or minty sets hidden in old obscure camera shops there. You will never find such mint and clean, perfect operational sets out anywhere. I am giving this side line a try. But the money I make will never justify my time non level with my day job. This is more for hobby and building a P6 community here. So I hope to have all your supports. Hopefully in near future we can have some great P6 legends here. |

people asked about the mechanics and functional aspect of this camera, it is as new. all curtains had been changed and all light tight and shutter speeds are perfect throughout. The CLA costed me about 90 EUROs so im seriously not making.
People asked me about cheaper ones out there and the differences. 1) they are old sets with scratches, dings and bumps on bodies and lenses (no resale value) 2) most of they are not functioning properly internally (light leaks, film advancing problem, cocking struck sometimes and waste 1 film etc...) thats why I paid the good money for servicing making sure they are like brand new. 3) above is an unique item, I do not see another 1 anywhere (so it is really rare.) hope this clears up all the doubts
