My trip to Mount Bromo and Surabaya

Just wanna share my trip to Mount Bromo and Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.

Day 1
I took plane to Surabaya and noticed that SIA plane was landing, I quickly snapped a shot.


It's beautiful from up there


I didn't do much on first day, so I tried to take panoramic of city at night

Day 2. Head to Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo is actually still an active volcano, which the next day I went up there.


It's just located beside Mount Batok (Gunung Batok) NOT Bukit Batok


I also tried HDR for this. This place is actually very near teh hotel I stayed, so I can take a lot of pictures from here.

the hdr is awesome. the rest looks quite faded away. is there lots of people there? is the trip costly ? hehe

yea there were many many people there, almost half of them are foreign tourists.
the trip is not really costly =)

Woke up 3AM to go Mt. Penanjakan to watch sunrise.

I think it's better U go to Solo 1st using slik air then go to bromo by car or train to surabaya 1st Solo is a nice city btw U can take some potrait of local people, human intrest and landscape

Hi I'm sorry, may I know what is HDR? How do we do it? The picture looks great!

HDR means high dynamic range. How to do it? The most basic software is QTPFSGUI, yes its the name of the software, else you can go buy photomatrix, a much better software.
