Default help with lenses for d80

hi people,

i need some help and not sure if it's the right place to post this.

i am using a D80 but not sure if i should use the tamron 1750, 50/1.8, 85/1.8 setup or tokina 1224, 50/1.8 , 85/1.8 for preweddings

currently using tamron 2875 and 50mm

find myself shooting alot in 35-75 range. but yet wanna do wide at times. tokina 1224 can use for portraits?

thanks for the help in advance!!!

I like the Tamron 17-50mm, 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8 Setup.
Because 12-24mm may be too wide and usually 17-50mm covers a good range for normal shoot with D80.

no problems on my set

just how fast do you want to focus?
you can always buy the AF-S DX 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED

hmm.. fast enough to do street normal actions. because i heard 1750 focusing cant even focus fast enough to capture moving people.

that 1755 is a dream now my friend but would you recommend one with motor or without on a d80?

the one without the motor. it focuses that little bit faster, and its once less component to spoil.
