Nice color and silhouette - but I can't quite make out the details in the rest of the image. Is a larger version available on your flickr page (and if so, what is it)?

Where was image taken?

Edit : loaded it into an external viewer to view it larger. Very nice scenery, with the trees in the fog. It'll make a fantastic print.

Wow that's a nice capture! Apart from the lens flare there, I'm loving the smooth colors and the shadow details.

Thanks Ryvaleus. Glad you liked it. I am finding that more than 80% of people do not normally like lens flare. The rest love it. You might have guessed... I have a fetish for lens flare

Thanks for the link. Kruger National Park? I missed my chance to visit when I was in South Africa some years back, abandoned by my colleagues because I was busy working The only giraffe I saw was a chunk on a skewer, and I definitely do not recommend it for its taste.

Ha ha.. haven't tasted giraffe... I heard Kruger near Johannesberg is famous for its elephants. I went to Hluhluwe/iMfolozi actually. Also a "Big 5 Game" park but its nearer to Durban than Johannesberg
