I would like to know if there is live view on D40 (which i believe dun have) =(.
if there is no live view, how can i get a similar function? ![]() |

D40/x does not have Live View... so if you want Live View, you would have to buy a camera with that feature, e.g. D300, D90.

Nikon has yet to come up with live view for their D40/D60 series of cameras.As geraldkhoo said,only the D90 up has live view(only the newer cameras)

i've just gotten a D40 and was looking to see if it has live view..
now that it dun hav, is there any method that i can use to get the same function? |

wah!! not cheap dude! ![]() sometimes some low or high angle shots are difficult to frame with the viewfinder. |

No cheap method to have it for your D40. I suggest selling your D40 and getting a D90 when it comes out (it records video too). |

nah.. its not that important to me.. i can still live with it. moreover, D90 is selling at ard SGD1900 on amazon.. totally out of my budget. |

Besides, you'll learn to love the viewfinder. There are many D300/40D users out there who won't even touch their live-view function simply because looking through the viewfinder is so much better! 324 megapixels dude! ![]() |

That's the hard truth that you've to look through the viewfinder as there is no liveview with the D40.

yup plus live view only appears on the mid-end to high-end/professional. Or the D90 on wards.
Should you really need it at a budget i suggest you get a olympus or a canon where virtually all their newer models have live view. btw isnt the resolution of the eyes 576mp? lol imagine the amount of space needed to record video at 576mp at at 72 fps for 1 year.. okok sory for OT |
