Description:
Item listed is a rare example of a rollei tlr as you can have a choice of 2 modes, "Automatic" and "Manual". This is the "Rollei Magic 2", which is more desirable then the original rollei magic as the latter does not have manual settings.

This tlr is good for fast shooting as you can just switch to automated mode and the camera will do everything for you. Much like a medium format point-and-shoot! If you have more time to take the shot, use the manual settings.

The taking lens is a Schneider Xenar 3.5/75mm, which is the standard (besides the 3.5 tessar) among other consumer rollei tlrs at that time. It produces sharp images with a great bokeh!

Exposure range from 1/30 - 1/500 sec and the B mode.

Rollei only made 12,600 pieces of this model (March 1962 - September 1968). It got very limited as many of their "automated" mode had aldy zonked out due to age and careless usage.

This fine example here is fully checked as i've run a couple of rolls thru it and it works fine in both the manual and automated mode. The Light meter is made by the famed Gossen, thus ensuring accuracy. This is well kept by its previous owners. Unfortunately i have to let it go (its really a joy to shoot with) because of my dream camera.





This set comes with a Great condition Original leather case (which is hard to find unless you really really treasure it, which this is). One good thing about this case is that the front part can be detached easily for easy shooting. With the sexy red velvet coating inside, this is a MUST for travelling.
