More DOF so that the whole seed is in focus.

I think I like it better w/o the black frame and the words. The great capture of the subject is aleady a good effort.
The words / caption should be out of the photo itself, not as part of the photo - I'm thinking along the idea of motivational posters.

    Lets hear from the rest.

The scene is interesting, i do prefer more DOF to keep the whole seed in focus like bro M3lv1nh0 mentioned. Nice colours

    Hi All,

Thanks for your feedbacks. The DOF a slight oversight. I had wanted the dof to just cover the seedling.

Will put more effort into it!

you can try resizing it to a smaller pic... then the oof of the seed wouldnt be so obvious. The color contrast of brown and green is very nice. but i agree with cheguthamrin that you can leave out the words.

i once heard a saying "if ur work speaks for itself... don't interrupt it".

well... sometimes i also tend to be itchy handed and add words to my pic. haha.

Probably. Leaving the words out could do. But resizing's aint the right way to correct a defect eh

Just gotta do it right. Will keep trying ...

no right and wrong... it all depends on the usable size that you want. of cos, not asking you to resize to icon size. but would you rather want a oof full size pic or a tact sharp pic off 400x600?

    Hi,

I like the composition, maybe a little bit more to the right. Nice bokeh. I like the soft shadows. Is it natural sunlight or did you fire your flash?

The DOF is just nice to me.

But the bokeh is awful. Composition is good here IMO.

Flash is fired as fill in. Sunlight was a little harsh in the area.
