you've got to be joking... that camera is only out for less than a few months. If there's a field guide it probably is a cut and paste and change D300 to D700 version.
Writing, compiling, and printing one takes more time.

Maybe someone organize a D700 field trip to share the knowledge? Much better than reading manual/books....

Very good at helping you set the camera up. http://kenrockwell.com/nikon/d700/users-guide/index.htm The field guides a couple of months off yet but watch out for http://www.nikonguides.com/d700.htm Thom also is another to check out. http://www.bythom.com/nikon.htm Nikonians web site too.
