Default D700 viewfinder's view curvy ???

Hi. I heard from some friends that the view through D700 looks curve at the corners. But will not affect the picture taken. Anyone can verify this? As i can't find any info on the web and i don't have the cam now, but considering to buy.

Thanks alot.

I tried it with a 50mm and I did not find it curvy at all.....your friend must have mounted a fish eye lens

Was your friend wearing glasses, particularly bifocals? I heard from one of my friends too, that he experienced a bit of 'distortion' when none of us experienced that problem.

No sure leh. As i don't know the friend's friend who experience it. And i don't have a D700 to verify. So if majority don't experience, then maybe it is just a specific user issue. Hope i am right.
