The best place to understand the market is at the market itself:

Kinda difficult as the market here is pretty small and some lenses are overpriced. Same goes for the older cameras like FM2.

I had seen two copies of 50/2.0 AI from different sellers and the price difference was close to $100 despite in similar condition.

how about just assume a reasonable pricing for the following gems?

20mm f2.8
28mm f2.0
35mm f2.0
35mm f1.4
50mm f1.4
85mm f1.4

Before assuming the price, you will also need to determine the type of mount of the lenses you wish to get, e.g. Non/Pre-AI, AI, AI-S. Even in the same type of mount, differences such as minimum focusing distance can also result in a price difference.

But if you are selling, let me know your price for the 28/2.0

I would say the best is to put them up for bid. The prices ask by the sellers or buyers are all not a good gauge. Only the transaction prices make the market rate. So if you put them up for bid, then you will see the market demand, just like COE. U can always add a clause that you reserve the right not to sell if the prices are too low.

There is no general consensus on the pricing of MF or older camera bodies.

You can try to look up KEH.Com or even adorama for their older manual lenses and refer to the prices and compare here ( They peg according to their grades. ) to see if u got a good buy

As a gauge, here are some of my transactions in the past 2 years for your reference.
I could have overpaid, or made losses, but I love these lens for their individual beauty.

50mm 1.8 Series E > $80 (Sold)
105mm 2.5 AI > $230 (bought)
85mm 1.4 AIS > $850 (bought)
28mm 3.5 AIS > $180 (sold)

I think the 105/2.5 is cheap at that price if the condition is good. Will love to own one Most I have seen in online auctions or in forum are about $300.
