Hello shot this while cycling yesterday.
Clouds were very dramatic and i was lucky because it has been raining non stop ever since god knows when. ![]() Shot with Kit Lens and CPL. I think Composition should be ok. Just want to find out about the mood, what you guys feel about and if there is any area i can improve in for this picture.

Very dramatic.
It would have been even better if you can angle it in such a way that the jetty looks more symmetrical. |

It gives me a feeling of 'unreachable'.

I feel that the lamp posts are not exactly detrimental, nor very distracting to the image.

Would be interested to see the original shot in colour instead. The top part of the clouds looks very contrasty, was that done artificially?

prefer a 16: 9 crop here - since the top part of the sky is not that essential in the picture.
note the horizon tilt and the converging verticals. these are little things that can be corrected easily to make your picture better. ![]() |

it looks like a bridge linking to a faraway unknown.
i agree with night86mare. If you can crop it to 16:9, the output will be better. |
