Let's get ready to GUESS GUESS GUESS!

    Correct Score Prediction = 3points!

    Correct 1st Scorer for LFC = 1point!

Correct Last Scorer for LFC = 1point!

Hat-Trick Hero Perfect Guess Guess Guess! = 5points!

so in any game, the max point a participant can net is a total of 10points.

    Sorting Out the Grey Areas.

1). in the event of 1-0 end result, the 1st scorer will be taken as the last scorer even though the participant might haf anticipated 2-0 or 22-0 and haf listed someone else as the last scorer.

2). the prediction is good till the Final Whistle, which includes Extra-time but not Penalty Shootout.

    League Table

    1). grumpy 11pts
    2). domdomino 7pts
    3). blazer workz 5pts
    4). Taurean 4pts
    5). boresome 4pts
    6). canew 4pt
    7). jfoo 4pt
    8). cheesecake 2pts
    9). airfins 2pts
    10). zhapchit 2pts
    11). roDz 1pt
    12). dfstan 1pt
    13). kelccm 1pt

    GERRARD CALMS REDS EXPECTATIONS

Almost 10 years since his debut and one goal short of his century for Liverpool, Steven Gerrard is still searching for the holy grail of title glory.

The league championship is the only domestic medal that 28 year-old Gerrard does not possess.

And as he prepares to celebrate a decade in the Liverpool side since his debut in November 1998, Gerrard will surely by then have cracked the 100-goal mark for the club after moving to 99 with his Champions League double in Marseille.

Gerrard is aware that expectation in the red half of Liverpool has hardly been dampened by last weekend's victory over Premier League champions Manchester United and Tuesday's success in Provence.

And if Liverpool beat newly-promoted Stoke on Saturday it will be their best start to a Premier League season after five games, beating the 12 points they amassed back in 1993-94.

The 100th goal, when it comes, will see him equal Kevin Keegan's tally for the Anfield club.

Gerrard knows, however, that it is the league crown, not won since 1990 by Liverpool, that the fans, players and management crave.

But the boy from Huyton is not daft enough to start making wild predictions of success.

Speaking to LiverpoolFC magazine, he said: "It's easy to get carried away at times, but it's too early to start making any sorts of statements.

"I've done it in the past, when I've said we have got a chance in this or that year, only to see us fall short.

"I think we are better equipped to go closer this season, but that's as far as I will go at the moment.

"I don't want to raise anyone's expectations too high in only the second month of the season.

"The plan is to still be in with a chance with five or 10 games to go. We have to be challenging."

Liverpool, unbeaten this term, have lost only one league game since the defeat at West Ham in January. In all 36 matches so far in 2008, Liverpool have been beaten just four times.

It is the sort of form that gives Gerrard confidence that he can add to his own personal haul of medals over the coming years.

He said: I am hoping that the next three or four years will be very good for me. I hope people are right when they say you peak at 28 or 29.

"I often reflect on what I have achieved in the game. I think about it every day and just hope that all those highlights, the trophies, the goals, the great wins and matches, are not the end of it.

"I want more of those experiences and memories. They are the best things that have happened to me in football. The joy you get from them is unbelievable.

"So over the next five years or so I want to get more cups under my belt and I am desperate to try to win this league.

"I feel the squad is a lot stronger than last season. There are certainly a lot more match-winners here."

As for his approaching decade in the first team, Gerrard said: "I'm getting scared, the years are flying by.

"It has gone so quickly, and in November it will be 10 years since I broke into the first team.

"They say time flies when you are having fun, and it's true. Now I just want to make the most of the time I have got left playing football."

PULIS PUTS POTTERS ON REDS ALERT

Stoke manager Tony Pulis cancelled this week's day off to work on his team's defensive frailties ahead of Saturday's clash at Liverpool.

Pulis admitted his men leaked "two poor goals" from set plays in Sunday's thrilling home defeat at the hands of Everton.

And he knows Stoke, who have conceded 10 times in their first four Barclays Premier League outings, will have to tighten up to stand any chance of survival.

He said: "We didn't cancel the players' day off as any form of punishment because the attitude and effort from all of them has been absolutely first class.

"But a lot of our players were away on international duty last week and it was important we got everyone together for as long as possible before the Liverpool game.

"We brought in new players on deadline day and it was the first time we've had all the squad with us for a decent length of time.

"Needless to say, we've done a lot of work on defending set plays to really nail that down. We did concede a couple of poor goals against Everton and we've worked hard to remedy that.

"We've also been hammering home the message about concentration levels, because that is another vital aspect at the top level.

"There have been occasions where we have switched off for a split second and been punished, which is something that happens when you are playing against the best."

Pulis insists the spirit in the Stoke camp remains "exceptional" despite suffering three defeats already in the top flight.

But he has warned his players they must guard against getting carried away by the atmosphere and surroundings when they step out at Anfield.

He said: "We must not get rolled away from what our objectives are. Of course it will be a fantastic occasion, but we won't be star gazing.

"I've never managed at Anfield before and this will be the first time some of our players have been there. We will give it our best shot and try to get something from the game.

"I'm sure I will get a response from the players and if we get a bit of luck, and have a strong referee who gives us as much as he gives Liverpool, we will have a chance."

Pulis expects his opposite number Rafael Benitez to make changes on Saturday after Liverpool's considerable exertions against Manchester United last weekend and in Marseille on Tuesday.

And he admitted he watched with as much admiration as anyone as Steven Gerrard scored his memorable first goal in the Stade Velodrome.

He said: "It was a special goal from a special player. He played in a role I like to see him play, just behind the forwards, and he was fantastic.

"He's an uncontrollable spirit who just loves to play football. He's likely to pop up anywhere on the field and I certainly wish we had him in our side."

Pulis has no new injury worries and midfielder Amdy Faye, who serves the second game of a three-match suspension, is the only Stoke player unavailable.
