Hi, how do the images taken By Panasonic Lumix LX3 compared to Canon G9 and Nikon P6000? I'm planning to buy the Canon G9 when I came across the photos you guys here taken with LX3 so my resolve is a bit shaken.

    Thanks in advance.

My first close up shot with the LX3. Natural lighting from window, set up on a tripod with self timer.

Hehehe, i'm not that brave. Those are my Hari Raya cookies, cooling on the kitchen table. I used a small table tripod. Realised the LX3's placement of the tripod thread is very poor for stability.

for small tripods the position would be not as stable, but at least you can access the batts and memory cards while mounted..
